Posted February 19, 2015. It seems some kind of software issue. I took fuel level sensor with fuel pump out of the tank and measured resistance. "Full tank" resistance was about 79 ohms and "empty tank" resistance about 400 Ohms. Currently I have about half full and resistance is 250 ohms. I assume level sensor is working properly.

Step 1: Disconnect the battery. Disconnect the ground connection to the battery. Cutting power from the battery when you are working on any type of electrical system on your vehicle is critical for safety. Step 2: Locate the sensor. You can find the ambient air temperature sensor at the front of the engine bay.
